Internal link
A link from one page on a website to another page on the same website.

Definition
Internal links create navigation paths for visitors and discovery paths for crawlers. Their destination and link text help communicate how pages relate, which routes matter, and where supporting information lives.
Why it matters
Useful internal linking connects services, proof, explanations, and next actions without forcing visitors to restart from the main navigation.
Common misunderstanding
Adding many repetitive links is not automatically helpful; context, destination quality, and information architecture matter.
