Landing page

A page designed as the arrival point for a specific audience, campaign, query, offer, or next action.

Also called: landing pages

Definition

A landing page aligns its promise, evidence, content depth, and call to action with the source and intent of its visitors. It may be part of the main site or a focused campaign path.

Why it matters

A focused arrival experience can reduce the gap between what brought a visitor in and what the business needs them to understand or do next.

Common misunderstanding

A landing page is not automatically a thin sales page or a page that should be isolated from the rest of the website.
