Technical SEO
The technical work that helps the right website pages remain accessible, crawlable, indexable, canonical, fast, and correctly connected.
Definition
Technical SEO examines status codes, crawl access, rendering, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps, metadata, internal links, structured data, performance, duplicate routes, and migration behavior. Findings should be prioritized by real impact and risk.
Why it matters
Strong content can still underperform when search systems or visitors cannot reliably reach, interpret, or use the preferred page.
Common misunderstanding
A tool's warning count is not a strategy. Many warnings are contextual, duplicated, low impact, or unrelated to the business's immediate problem.
